# Token Functionality

Our native token ($CRIC) does not intend to be just another in-game purchase that we are all tired of. We don’t want to give the community something that has no utility in the true sense of the word.&#x20;

Moreover, we did not want to give the community a semblance of power without giving them any authority. The $CRIC utility token will be the primary tool to operate in the CrickDAO metaverse.

We wish to establish many functions of our Native Token within the ecosystem, including, but not limited to, Play to Earn games, NFT Minting, NFT Marketplace Trading, Reward distribution, DAO Governance  and a lot more.
